A thorough reinvigoration of a modestly scaled worker’s cottage in Woollahra, with a refined layout and elevated the interiors using a palette of rose-veined marble, soft oak floor and ceiling, and Moroccan zellige tiles.
Unpicking years of successive modifications to this modest Victorian cottage, we sought to rationalise the layout to create a contemporary sanctuary in the midst of a busy urban area.
The result is a home that invites you in with an abundance of natural light, warm tones, and a seamless connection to a secluded green courtyard.
