Within each room, the opportunity to for rework spatial planning was explored, with rooms reconfigured or reoriented to capitalise on the harbour views, enhance storage and spatial flow, and add warmth and grace to each space.
Emphasis was placed on craftsmanship and materiality, with warm blackbutt parquet flooring and natural sisal carpet establishing a rich, tactile base enhanced by wallpaper and paint colours selected by consultant Rosemary Lucas.
Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were replanned for improved layout, and deeply personal design.
Bespoke timber joinery was designed to house the clients’ extensive art and ceramic collections, and to discreetly integrate new ducted air conditioning and ventilation.
This thoughtful renovation combines precision detailing with a quiet luxury, creating a refined living environment that foregrounds both the beauty of the view and the personality of its occupants.
